The Opticians Association of Canada offers the following types of insurance for its members:

Professional Errors & Omissions Liability Insurance
The Opticians Association of Canada continues to offer a master Professional Liability Insurance Program for all members. The policy protects members from lawsuits for damages claimed by a third party, resulting from a professional error or omission or negligent act, committed during the course of their activities as an “Optician”.

TO APPLY FOR ERRORS & OMISSIONS LIABILITY INSURANCE:
1. Fill out an OAC Membership Form.*
2. Fill out an insurance questionnaire form**
3. Mail, Fax or Email your completed forms to the OAC office.
* If you are not already a member of the OAC you must also purchase a membership to be eligible to purchase insurance.
** Your completed insurance questionnaire must be received prior to your insurance being processed.
